In this regard, we collect personal data from you as follows: Information about your visits to our website such as volume of data transfer, the location from which you retrieve data from our website and other connection data and files and other content that you retrieve. Purpose of use and personal data concerned

The scope and nature of the collection, processing and use of your data differs depending on whether you visit our website merely to access generally available information or to make use of additional services.

a) Informational use
For a purely informational use of our website, it is generally not necessary for you to provide personal data. Rather, in this case, when you call up our web pages, we only record the data that your Internet browser automatically transmits to us, such as

The IP address of your computer is only stored for the time of your use of the website in so-called log files and then immediately deleted or anonymized by shortening. The remaining data is stored for a limited period of time. We use this data for the operation of our website, in particular to detect and eliminate errors on the website, to determine the utilization of the website and to make adjustments or improvements.

b) Use in the event of claiming further services
If you claim further services from our company via our website, it may be necessary for you to provide personal data for this purpose. Which personal data is required for the provision of the service can be seen from the respective input mask. You can provide further information voluntarily. You can tell which information is required and which is voluntary by the fact that the mandatory information is marked with an asterisk (*). 4. Contact form

On our website we offer you the possibility to contact us by means of a contact form. The personal data you provide in the context of a contact request will only be used to process your request and will be deleted from the web server immediately. We would like to point out that the messages may be stored within the scope of legally existing storage obligations. Subject to the following, the data will not be passed on to third parties.

5. Newsletter

If you register for our newsletter, we will use the data required for this purpose or separately provided by you in order to send you our e-mail newsletter on a regular basis based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO. a) Use of cookies

7. Use of plugins of the service providers Google, Facebook and Twitter

a) Use of Facebook plugins
Plugins of the social network of the company Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, are integrated on our websites. You can recognise the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or a Facebook button (e.g. "Like" button or "Like" button) on our website.

If you click on the Facebook "Like" button, you can show that you like the website or certain content and link this content on your Facebook profile. This transmits information from your browser directly to Facebook and stores it there. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to our website directly to your Facebook account. This website uses the "Share button" of XING. Therefore, when you call up this website, a connection is established via your browser to the servers of XING AG, Gänsemarkt 43, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. This is how the share functions (e.g. the display of the counter value) are provided. No personal data relating to your visit to this website is stored. In particular, XING does not store IP addresses. Nor is your usage behavior evaluated.  

8. Credit assessment in the event of an order

We reserve the right to carry out a credit check in the event of an order. However, this will only be carried out after a thorough assessment of your interests. As a rule, data is not passed on without consent and only in the case of justified interest.

9.No passing on of your personal data

We do not pass on your personal data to third parties unless you have consented to the passing on of data or we are entitled or obliged to pass on data on the basis of statutory provisions and/or official or judicial orders. All information you provide to us is stored on servers within the European Union. However, we secure our website and other systems by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, alteration or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons. In particular, we transmit your personal data in encrypted form. We use the coding system TLS 1.2 (Transport Layer Security).

12. Deletion and blocking of personal data after fulfilment of purpose

We process and store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose, at the longest, however, until the expiry of the statutory retention and storage periods. When the purpose has been fulfilled and the legal retention and storage periods have expired, the personal data will be deleted or blocked in accordance with the data protection regulations.

13. Right of appeal

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, workplace or the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR.

What do we process your data for (purposes of processing) and on what legal basis do we do this? We process personal data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all other relevant laws:

1) To fulfil contractual obligations (Art. 6 para. 1b) DS-GVO

The processing of personal data (Art. 4 No. 2 DS-GVO) is carried out, for example, for the processing of orders, the preparation of offers and pre-contractual measures, the provision of services, invoicing and the delivery of goods. The purposes of the processing are primarily based on the service to be provided by us.

2) Within the framework of the balancing of interests (Art. 6 para. 1f) DS-GVO)

Where necessary, we also process your data in order to protect legitimate interests of us or of third parties. This may be the case, for example, with:

Insofar as we have your consent to process personal data for certain purposes (e.g. advertising), this processing is lawful on the basis of your consent. Once you have given your consent, it can be revoked at any time. Please note that the revocation is effective for the future. Processing that was carried out before this revocation is not affected by this.

4) Processing due to legal requirements (Art. 6 para. 1c) DS-GVO)

It may happen that we process your personal data in order to fulfil legal obligations. These include, for example, retention periods under commercial and tax law and, where applicable, information to authorities.

To whom is the data passed on (categories of recipients):

Data processing within the company:

We have bundled certain data processing procedures within our company. These are carried out centrally by specialised company departments. For example, your data may be processed for telephone customer service, invoice processing or mail processing.

External contractors and service providers (order processors):

In order to perform our tasks and fulfil our contracts, we sometimes use external contractors and service providers. These may include, for example, document shredders, printing service providers, logistics and IT service providers.

Other recipients:

In addition, data may go to recipients to whom we are obliged to disclose data due to legal obligations (e.g. law enforcement agencies and courts).

Duration of data storage:

As far as necessary, we process and store your personal data for the duration of our business relationship. This also includes the initiation and processing of a contract/order. In addition, we are subject to various storage obligations, which result, among other things, from the German Commercial Code. Finally, the storage period also results from the statutory limitation periods which are usually 3 years but can also be up to 30 years.

Data transfer to third countries:

Data transfer to third countries (countries outside the EU and the European Economic Area EEA) only takes place insofar as this is necessary for the execution of a contract/order/business relationship including the initiation and only in compliance with the data protection requirements prescribed for this purpose.

In addition, you can, under certain conditions, demand the correction or deletion of your data (Art. 16 and 17 DSGVO). You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data (Art. 18 DSGVO). In addition, you have the right to demand the return of the data you have provided in a structured, common, machine-readable format (Art. 20 DS-GVO).

Is there an obligation to provide data?

In the context of a business initiation or business relationship with us, you generally only need to provide the data that we require for the corresponding establishment, implementation or termination of this relationship. Without the provision of the required data, we may have to refuse to establish a business relationship or may not be able to carry it out or may even have to terminate such a relationship.
